What We Support

Types of Therapy Offered

  • A type of psychotherapy that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It's a structured, present-focused, goal-oriented approach aimed at identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns and developing more effective coping mechanisms.

  • A type of psychotherapy that helps individuals develop psychological flexibility by accepting their thoughts and feelings without judgment and committing to actions that align with their values.

  • A counselling approach that emphasizes finding solutions to present problems. It focuses on your strengths and resources, helping you envision a future where your problems are resolved. SFT fosters a collaborative relationship between you and your therapist, where you are seen as the expert of your own life.

  • A type of therapy that combines aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with mindfulness and acceptance skills. The "dialectic" in DBT refers to the idea of finding a balance between acceptance and change, acknowledging that both are necessary for a fulfilling life. This type of therapy teaches four core skills: Distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
