Hi, I’m Kelsey Rozema

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada. I work with children, teens, and adults of all ages, providing virtual support for concerns like anxiety, stress, self-esteem, perfectionism, people pleasing, low mood, life transitions, and grief.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, combining different therapeutic modalities depending on who you are and what you need. These therapeutic modalities may include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I am a strengths-based therapist whose goal is to make my clients feel safe, seen, and heard. I like to laugh with my clients and celebrate your wins while holding space for the hard things, too. I’m a firm believer that, with the right support, you are capable of making meaningful change in your life and maintaining wellness.
I received my Master of Counselling degree from the University of Lethbridge. Before that, I also completed my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Queen's University and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies at McMaster University. I gained experience working in community mental health before making the transition into private practice.

Outside of the therapy room, you can often find me with my nose in a good book, walking a trail with my dog, Maggie, or catching up on the latest true crime or reality TV shows.

Meet Maggie

Maggie is a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel who may pop into your session to say hi! She knows a thing or two about feeling anxious and is here to support you too.
